When 4 His Love re-formed in Kansas City a few years ago, God made clear that His
intention for this group was not to be a money-maker for the people involved, but to be a
ministry to everyone the group could reach. Ever since it's inception, the group has made a
commitment to minister wherever God opens doors, regardless of the ability of the
recipients to pay. This has given 4 His Love the opportunity to minister in places many
groups do not: nursing homes; facilities for the medically, emotionally, mentally and
physically challenged; missions and homeless shelters; benefit concerts; civic and
community events; and many more.
Because of this commitment, the group immediately incorporated as a 501c(3) federal nonprofit, tax-exempt organization. This type of structure offers a number of advantages:
reduction in expenses through the exemption from state sales taxes and other forms of
taxation; the opportunity to take advantage of reduced rates for services like postage; the opportunity to offer to our donors a tax-deductible receipt for gifts to the ministry that do
not involve an exchange for something of value (like a CD, t-shirt, etc.).
During the course of the year, 4 His Love has the obvious expenses you would expect a
singing group like ours to have: travel expenses like fuel and vehicle maintenance; vehicle
payments and insurance; motels when churches are unable to help with housing; meals;
production and music expenses. But there are also a number of expenses we're sure you
have never thought of: bottled water for rehearsals, travel and performances; batteries for
concert microphones; snacks for those times when there isn't time to stop for meals
between services; postage, phone and other communications expenses; the list could go on
and on.
We are in need of people who would like to come alongside this ministry in a real and
tangible way by becoming part of our regular support network. All gifts to the ministry are
tax deductible, other than the fair market value of any products (like CDs) received. You
can give cash or checks, gift cards that can be used to purchase necessities on the road, or
even donate a needed item or items. (Please contact 4 His Love for a description of the
items that we regularly use from which you can choose what to give.) We will have a special
donors newsletter just for you, and special gifts from time to time as simple ways of saying
thanks for your kindness.
We know that in these difficult economic times, another commitment might be the last thing
you think you need. But as God continues to expand the reach and impact of this ministry, we know that He will bless those who choose to give as HE lays it on their hearts to do so.
Don't give because we are asking; give because HE is telling you it is His desire for you to
do so. If that is your guide and motivation, the blessings He has promised for the cheerful
